Le Mesnil-Tove
Like many small villages in rural France, local facilities have slowly closed down and Mesnil-Tove is no exception. We have a church, a post box, a phone box and a public loo!
7.30am, it's Mesnil Tove bourg and we're all waiting for the coach to take us away on a day trip to Utah beach. You can just make out the bar and grocery store, which sadly, is now closed.
Juvigny-le-Tertre (2km -uphill most of the way!)
Juvigny-le-Tertre has a Church with Sunday Service (usually 11am), Doctor & Nurses' Surgeries, 2 Petrol Stations & Garages, Supermarket, Post Office, 2 Butchers, Bank (nearest ATM’s are at Mortain & Sourdeval) Bakery, Bar/Tabac, Hair Salon & Restaurants (open for lunch only).
